Whilst all the scheming continues behind closed doors in County Hall, the Cabinet is ensuring that it is business as usual for the Council.Part of this is the way that the Administration is gearing up its campaign to clean up the City. Talks are underway with the Trade Unions to introduce more effective working practices whilst other initiatives are being introduced to discourage and punish litter.
Whatever happens tomorrow and subsequently, we are determined to make some very real improvements to the cleanliness of Swansea.
Update: It is good to see Labour acknowledge how bad things were when we took over, even if they do refer to fictitious cuts in cleansing.
